Privacy Policy

This document describes how The Transition Bureau collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data submitted through its platform and during the course of engagement.

Section 01

Data Collection

§ 01.1
Information we collect
We collect information necessary to assess, plan, and execute relocation transitions. This includes contact details, nationality, current and desired location, family and household composition, professional context, budget indications, and any special requirements or constraints you disclose. We also collect authentication credentials through our secure identity provider.
§ 01.2
How we collect
Data is collected directly through the secure intake form, during direct correspondence with your assigned Transition Director, and through encrypted partner channels under strict confidentiality agreements.
Section 02

Use of Data

§ 02.1
Purpose
Your data is used exclusively to evaluate eligibility, design transition strategy, coordinate counterparties, and deliver the agreed scope of services. We do not use personal data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose outside the specific engagement.
§ 02.2
Internal access
Access is limited to the Transition Director assigned to your file and, where necessary, vetted operational staff bound by confidentiality obligations. No data is shared internally beyond the minimum required to execute the transition.
Section 03

Sharing & Disclosure

§ 03.1
Service providers
We engage select service providers — including legal counsel, immigration advisors, fiduciary institutions, security professionals, and property specialists — under binding non-disclosure agreements. These providers receive only the specific information required to perform their function and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
§ 03.2
Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process. Where permitted, we will notify you of any such request before disclosure.
Section 04

Data Retention

§ 04.1
Retention period
Personal data is retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill legal, accounting, and operational obligations. After this period, identifying information is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except where retention is required by law.
Section 05

Your Rights

§ 05.1
Access and control
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion where permissible. Requests are handled by your assigned Transition Director or through the contact channel below.
§ 05.2
Portability
Upon request, we will provide your data in a structured, commonly used format suitable for transfer to another service provider.
Section 06

Security

§ 06.1
Safeguards
We employ encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, and audit logging. All platform access is monitored and logged to maintain accountability.
Section 07
